"Y loves books, and it was a good way for him to see other people read with them and play with them.  With the program, I have new books that I didn't know were around. They gave me other types of books that he likes and I like. Reading is a really fun thing to do with Y, he loves it and I love to do it with him... so it gives us this special time together to read."

"I really enjoyed being introduced to different things I might not have gotten to on my own. There was one period where G was into pirates, and Kris brought him a pirate book, and he was so excited... that night we painted a pirate flag and made the couch into a pirate ship while G enacted different parts of the book Kris gave him."

"Kris was able to answer a lot of my questions that I might not have realized I had. There were a lot of things we talked about, she encouraged me to apply for Early Intervention, and that was really helpful."

"The home visits were helpful. My favorite part is the reading, and at first my baby didn't like the books, but right now she can stay with a book a couple of minutes, and I think that's AWESOME!"
